Thy Word is False

If you are a believer in Christ, you are well aware of the fact that the Bible claims itself as the "word of truth". It claims that God is true and every man a liar. It claims that Jesus is the truth. It claims that the Holy Spirit will guide us unto all truth. It is faith in these truths that cause men and women to trust that their sins are forgiven, they are born again spiritually, and they have been given eternal life.

The Bottomless Pit

The Bible talks about a place that holds some really nasty evil angels, including Satan himself. It is called the “Bottomless Pit”. It is a place of confinement for these evil beings and a place that the evil angels themselves do not desire to go. When Jesus was casting out the legion of evil angels from a man, these evil beings besought Jesus that he would not send them into the deep. (Luke 8:31). Jesus sent them into some swine. The Bottomless Pit appears most prominently in the book of Revelation. It comes from the Greek word “abussos,” meaning “bottomless” or “immeasurable depth”. Our English word for it is “abyss”. The Bible talks about the beast being there, Satan being there for a time, and the evil angels from Genesis chapter 6 being there. Revelation 9 talks about angels being released from the pit in the end times to torment wicked men for 5 months.

So, You Want to Be a Missionary

So, the Lord God has called you to be a missionary to the nations. Congratulations! You are about to experience a lifetime full of rewards! Never before has there been such thrust in missions as in these last days. It is obvious that the Lord Jesus is pushing to get people to respond to the gospel before he comes again.     Along with the rewards come many dangers that the missionary may wish to avoid. It appears as though Satan works extra hard to destroy the person and the work of the one whom the Lord has called to preach the good news of salvation. Many books have been written and many seminars have been given on preparation for the mission field. These have covered every aspect of missionary life that can be thought of and all have given invaluable ideas for success as a missionary.

The King James Bible

The version of the Bible that I use in this website is the King James Version. It will be the only version I use unless a topic compels me to compare it to what another version says. It will be done to show the superiority of the King James Version over any other English version out there.  Lots and lots of pages have been written on the debate of which Bible version is best. Some arguments are compelling while others are just built on sinking sand. Below is a list of reasons why I choose the KJV over all other English Bibles.
